Frequently asked

A few practical notes for making your overnight stay comfortable for you, your neighbors, and the campus.

Still planning your route? Call the Foundation team at (574) 293-2344.

Who can stay overnight?+

The program is intended for visiting RV and motorhome travelers with self-contained rigs. Every stay must be registered in advance and accepted by the Foundation team.

What is the difference between hookup and boondocking?+

Hookup dates indicate limited electric service may be available. Boondocking dates are dry camping without a utility connection. Select your preference in the registration form so staff can confirm what is possible for your rig.

Can I arrive without a reservation?+

Please do not rely on walk-up availability. Calendar dates are a planning guide and must be confirmed with the Foundation before arrival.

When do I receive payment instructions?+

After your requested dates and hookup needs are reviewed, the team will provide the current rate and a secure payment link. Your request is not a confirmed reservation until the team confirms it.

What should I bring?+

Bring a self-contained, road-ready RV, your registration confirmation, and any supplies needed for dry camping. Follow all posted campus instructions and leave your site clean.
