Rex R. Anderson

Biography

Innovator in trailer manufacturing beginning in 1924, he had 13 patents. He patented an in-floor heating system and devised the sideways assembly line; he was the first to install a full size bath tub in his trailers. He was one of the founders of the Mobilehome Craftsmen’s Guild Gold Seal program. Most mobile homes today have his heating compartment.
